Seventh day in Finland ( Helsinforgs ) / Séptimo día en Finlandia ( Helsinki )

Gabriel : Me levanté, me vestí, preparé todo, maleta, mochila, riñonera, móvil... Lo bajé, me hice una foto con la familia y desayuné, cogimos el coche y llegamos a la estación de trenes y me despedí de la familia, pillamos un tren a Helsinki.

Llegamos a Helsinki, dejamos las maletas en el hotel, y fuimos a ver la ciudad, compramos recuerdos, probamos el Glögi, vimos catedrales, una isla y la biblioteca Oodi.

Cenamos en un restaurante y volvimos al hotel, preparé las cosas para mañana, hablé un poco con Antonio y Yeray y nos dormimos.

I woke up, I got dressed, I prepared everything, backage, backpacks, mobile phone... I put It downstairs, I did a photo with the family and get breakfast, we catched the car and went to the train station and I said bye to the family, we catched a train to Helsinki.

We arrived at Helsinki, left our backage in the hotel and we went to see the city, we bought reminds, we tasted the Glögi, saw cathedrals, an island and the library Oodi.

We dinnered at a restaurant and we come back to the hotel, I prepared my things for tomorrow, I talked a little bit with Antonio and Yeray and we slept.

Antonio: Hoy me he levantado a las 8:15 y me despedí de Konsta.La madre me llevó a la estación de trenes y nos despedimos de todos antes de irnos a Helsinki.Fue un viaje de tres horas y cuando llegamos dejamos todas las cosas en el hotel.Lo primero que hicimos fue ir a una iglesia luterana con un coro.Más tarde fuimos a comprar imanes y probamos el gloggi(Una bebida típica de Finlandia)y nos comimos unos perritos calientes.

Nos montamos en un barco para ir a visitar una isla.No la visitamos entera,pero estuvo muy bien.

Cuando volvimos,fuimos a una biblioteca muy grande.Despues de la biblioteca fuimos a cenar.Me pedí una hamburguesa de carne de alce y estaba muy buena.

Llegamos a el hotel,me duche y me quedé dormido

Today I woke up at 8:15 and I said goodbye to Konsta.His mother brought me to the train station and we said goodbye to everybody before we went to Helsinki.It was a three hours trip and when we arrived we left all the things in the hotel.The first thing we did was to go to the lutheran cathedral with a chorus.Later we went to bought some fridge magnets and we tried the gloggi(A typical finish drink)and we ate hot dogs.

We took a ship to went to visit an island.We didn't saw it at all,but It was very good.

When we returned,we went to a huge library.After visiting the library we went to had dinner.I ordered a hamburger with elk meat and It was very good.

When we arrived to the hotel,I had a shower and I felt asleep

Yeray : Goodbye Finland

Hoy me despedí de mi familia, de Jarmo y Eerin en casa, y de Leila y Aaron en la estación de tren.Fuimos de Seinajöki hasta Helsinki.Después, fuimos al Hotel Finn a dejar las maletas. Cuando terminamos de dejar las cosas fuimos a visitar una iglesia luterana, donde había un coro cantando. Luego, probamos una bebida típica finlandesa llamada ‘Gloggi’(estaba buena). Cuando terminamos, cogimos un barco hacia una isla cercana y vimos como era. Cuando vimos la isla fuimos de vuelta a Helsinki. En esta segunda vez, visitamos una gran biblioteca, y después, fuimos a cenar en un restaurante. ¡Estaba todo buenísimo! Finalmente, fuimos al hotel y descansamos. (Me gustaría volver algún día).

Today I said goodbye to my family, of Jarmo and Eerin at home, and of Leila and Aaron at the train station. We went from Seinäjoki to Helsinki. After, we went to Hotel Finn, where we left the suitcases and school bags. When we finished to leaving everything we went to visit a luther cathedral, where there was a chorus singing. Then, we tasted a typical Finnish drink called ‘Gloggi’(it was good). When we finished, we took a ship to a nearby island and we saw how it was. When we saw the island we returned to Helsinki. This second time, we visited a big library, and then, we went to dinner at a restaurant. ¡Everything was great! Finally, we went to the hotel and rested. (I would like to return one day).

Sixth day in Finland / Sexto día en Finlandia

Gabriel : I woke up, got dressed and had breakfast, we picked the car and went to the zoo.

When we arrived, we waited for the other people and saw the shop. Later, everyone arrived and we saw the zoo, with animals like: Panda, Red Pandas, Bears, Deers, Wolfs, Foxes, etc...

After we saw the zoo, we bought things from the shop and we did some snowmans. We picked the car and come back to home, I got dinner prepared my things for tomorrow and closed the backage.

Me levanté, me vestí y desayuné, cogimos el coche y vamos al zoo.

Cuando llegamos, esperamos a los demás y vimos la tienda. Después, llegaron todos y vimos el zoo, con animales como : Pandas, Pandas Rojos, Osos, Ciervos, Lobos, Zorros, etc...

Después de ver el zoo, compramos cosas de la tienda e hicimos algunos muñecos de nieve. Pillamos el coche y volvimos a casa, cené, preparé mis cosas para mañana y cerré la maleta.

Antonio:Hoy me he levantado a las 7 y cincuenta y he desayunado rápido porque me tenían que recoger para ir al zoo.Ha sido un viaje de 1 hora,y nada mas entrar hemos visto a los osos panda.

Después hemos ido viendo pandas rojos,lobos,leopardos de nieve y muchos animales de granja.Comimos en una hoguera con perritos calientes,patatas y pan con carne de reno.Cuando hemos terminado,hemos ido a la tienda de souvenirs y nos han regalado un iman a cada uno.Hemos hecho varios muñecos de nieve muy grandes entre todos,y volvimos a Seinäjoki.Cené fajitas y estuve un rato jugando al ping pong y al escondite y haciendo mi maleta.Me acoste a las 11.

Today I woke up at 7:50 and I had breakfast quite quickly because they had to picked up me to go to the zoo.It was a one-hour trip,and as soon as I entered the zoo we saw panda bears.

Later we saw red pandas,wolves,snow leopards and a lot of farm animals.We ate in a bonfire with hot dogs,chips and reindeer meat.When we finished,we went to the souvenirs' shop and they gave us magnets for all the people.We made some big snowmen together,and we went to Seinäjoki.I had fajitas for dinner and I played ping pong,hide and seek and I packed my suitcase.I went to bed at 11.

Yeray : Day at the Zoo.

Today, we went to the Zoo. At the Zoo, I saw a lot of animals that I had never seen, for example: lynxs, pandas, bears, owls… After, at the Zoo’s shop I bought fridge magnets and keychains. Finally, after dinner, my family gave me some presents. 

Hoy, fuimos al Zoo. En el Zoo, vi muchos animales que nunca había visto, por ejemplo: linces, pandas, osos, búhos… Después, en la tienda del Zoo compré imanes para la nevera y llaveros. Finalmente, después de cenar, mi familia me dio varios regalos.

Farewell and visit to Helsinki

This morning we said goodbye to our families in Seinäjoki, some tears and a see you soon marked these hours, with the firm desire to see each other again in May. After three hours on the train, reminiscing about adventures of this week and looking at photos, we arrived in Helsinki. The chilly air greeted us at the station. We reached the hotel and began to explore the city. We visited the Lutheran Cathedral and then the Orthodox one. We took the boat to the island of Suomenlinna, a surprise awaited us, as the ice crackled with each advance of the boat. We took a stroll through its streets, seeing its houses, the church, etc. We returned to the city to visit the library. An impressive building where we would spend more than an hour surrounded by such a pleasant atmosphere. And finally, we had dinner at a restaurant where we tasted some of the typical dishes. We ended the day packing our bags for the trip back home.

Esta mañana nos despedimos de nuestras familias en Seinäjoki, algunas lágrimas y un hasta pronto, han marcado estas horas, con el firme deseo de volver a vernos en mayo. Tras tres horas en el tren, recordando aventuras de esta semana y viendo fotos, llegamos a Helsinki. El gélido aire nos recibe en la estación. Llegamos al hotel, y empezamos a descubrir la ciudad. Visitamos la Catedral luterana y después la ortodoxa. Cogemos el barco a la isla de Suomenlinna, una sorpresa nos esperaba, mientras llegábamos el hielo crujía a cada avance del barco. Hemos dado un paseo por sus calles, viendo sus casas, la iglesia, etc. Regresamos a la ciudad para visitar la biblioteca. Un edificio impresionante dónde pasaríamos más de una hora envueltos en este ambiente tan agradable. Y finalmente, cenamos en un restaurante donde degustamos algunas de las comidas típicas. Acabamos el día preparando  las maletas para la vuelta a casa.

Fifth day in Finland

 I woke up and had breakfast, a croissant 🥐, an Orange juice 🧃 and a yougurt. I dressed and I went to the school. Then, we went to go bowling.

We went to the school for had lunch.

I went to the house and we ate a snak, a yogurt with granola. I went with other  people to played in Megalozonia , it is a Laser tac game.

I went to the house and we had dinner wok🍜, it was really good.

Then I went with Nanna and Hilja to took the teachers. 

Then, we were in a cold lake, it was really cold. 

And after of that we were in a sauna. It was a really interesting experience.

Sixth day in Finland

 I woke up and it was snowing!❄️ 

I had breakfast a sándwich with egg🍳 and a shake with 🥭,🍓and🍌. I dressed and I went to a zoo. In the zoo there were a lot of animals 🐻🐼🐔🫎🦉🐿️.

 I ate hot dogs.🌭

We did a snow man☃️

Then I went to the Hilja’s grandparents house and we had dinner mash potatoes with mouse.

I went to the house and I did my suitcase.

I did a tortilla de patatas 🥔 🥚.

I had shower and I went to the sauna.

I tasted the tortilla and it was really good.

Fifth day in Finland / Quinto día en Finlandia

Gabriel : I woke up, got dressed and had breakfast, went to the school and we went walking to the bowling.

After that, Yeray, Aaro, Aaron and me went to the library to lose time and we went to the shopping centre, we wait for the others and played lasertag, we went home, get dinner, prepared my things for tomorrow and went to slept.

Me levanté, me vestí y desayuné, fui a la escuela y fuimos andando a la bolera.

Después de eso, Yeray, Aaro, Aaron y yo fuimos a la biblioteca para perder el tiempo y fuimos al centro comercial, esperamos a los demás y jugamos lasertag, nos fuimos a casa, cenamos, preparé mis cosas para mañana y me dormí.

Antonio: Hoy me he despertado a las 8 y he ido al colegio en bici.

En el colegio,hemos estado en una clase 20 minutos y después nos hemos ido andando a la bolera.Nos hemos tenido que poner unos zapatos especiales para la bolera,y hemos podido jugar durante una hora.

Hemos vuelto al colegio y hemos comido lasaña y manzana.En la casa,me he tomado un pequeño snack antes de ir al lasertag a las 3.

Cuando llegamos al lasertag,nos explicaron las reglas del juego y escogimos equipo.Mi primer equipo perdió pero mi segundo equipo ganó.

Más tarde,me fui a ver el partido de fútbol de Konsta(Que perdieron 3-0) y después de esto fuimos a un buffet de pizza.

Antes de llegar a la casa,visitamos un estadio de beisbol finés en el que se estaba jugando un partido.

Cuando llegamos a casa,jugamos al escondite y me fui a dormir a las 11.

Today I woke up at 8 and I went to school by bike.

In the school,we stayed at one class for twenty minutes and then we went walking to the bowling.We had to put on a special shoes for the bowling, and we could play for one hour.

We went to school and we ate lasagne and apple.In the house,I ate a small snack before we went to the lasertag.

When we arrived to the lasertag,they explained us the rules and we chose team.My first team lost but my second team won.

Later,we went to saw Konsta's match(But they lost 3-0)and then we ate in a pizza buffet.Before we arribes home,we visited a finish baseball stadium and some people were playing.

When we arrived home,we played hide and seek and I went to bed at eleven o'clock.

Yeray : Último día con la clase

Today, we went bowling with the class(today was our last day with them), I made a full one! In the afternoon, we went to the lasers. I had a great time! Afterwards, I went home and played with Aaron ‘Brawl Stars’. Also, I ate dinner tacos, they were delicious! Finally, I saw ‘The Voice’ in the living room, even though I didn't understand much because they spoke in Finnish😅

Hoy fuimos a la bolera con la clase(hoy era nuestro último día con ella), ¡hice un pleno! Por la tarde, fuimos a los láser. ¡Me lo pasé genial! Después, fui a casa y jugué con Aaron ‘Brawl Stars’. También, cené tacos, ¡estaban riquísimos! Finalmente, ví ‘La Voz' en el salón, aunque no entendía mucho porque hablaban en finlandés😅

An unforgettable day

Every day we live a different journey, this morning it's snowing. Nanna came for us and we head to Ähtäri Zoo. A spectacular landscape welcomes us, tall firs, and snow on both sides of the road. We arrive at our destination, meet up with other parents, and the kids. First visit, the pandas. Next, we walked through the forest while spotting owls, lynxes, reindeer, moose, among other animals. We can't forget our lunch break, where the parents prepared hot dogs, sandwiches with reindeer meat, coffee, chocolate, and sweets for everyone. We finish the tour by making snowmen. On the way back, Nanna's parents invited us to dinner with them, along with Paola. A heartfelt evening where we talked about their experiences, their daily life, cooking recipes, etc. Unique moments that we won't forget. The kindness and hospitality we encountered have left us with unique experiences.

Cada día vivimos una jornada diferente, esta mañana está nevando. Ha venido Nanna por nosotras y ponemos rumbo a Ähtäri zoo. Un paisaje espectacular nos recibe, altos abetos y nieve por ambos lados de la carretera. Llegamos a nuestro destino, nos reunimos con otros padres, y los chicos. Primera visita, los osos pandas. A continuación hemos andado por el bosque mientras veíamos búhos, linces, renos, alces, entre otros animales. No podemos olvidar nuestra parada para almorzar, los padres han preparado perritos calientes, sandwiches con carne de reno, café, chocolate y dulces para todos. Terminamos el recorrido haciendo muñecos de nieve. De vuelta, los padres de Nanna nos han invitado a cenar con ellos, junto a Paola. Una velada entrañable en la que hemos charlado de sus experiencias, su vida en el día a día, recetas de cocina, etc. Unos momentos únicos que no olvidaremos. La amabilidad y hospitalidad que hemos encontrado nos han dejado unas vivencias únicas. 

Fifth day in Finland/ Quinto día en Finlandia:

Viernes, 15 de marzo de 2024:

Hoy fue nuestro último día de colegio. A primera hora, fuimos a la bolera a jugar a los bolos y nos dividieron en diferentes equipos. A mí me pusieron con Linnea y con unas amigas suyas.

Después de jugar a los bolos, volvimos a clase, comimos una comida que para mí estaba bastante rica y a última hora nos llevaron a un aula donde la gente estaba dibujando y coloreando. Las tres también nos pusimos a pintar mientras hablábamos, hasta que llegó la hora de irse. 

Fue muy guay haber ido a ese colegio, pese a que alguna comida no estuviera muy rica.

Después, jugamos a un tipo de "Lasertag" en el centro comercial que nos encantó.

Más tarde, me quedé en casa una hora mientras Linnea se iba a clase de baile y cuando la recogimos, nos fuimos a bañar a un lago en el exterior de agua congelada. ¡Nos encantó! Nos bañamos dos veces, metiendo entre cada baño una entrada a una sauna colectiva.

Luego, nos fuimos a casa de Asta y cenamos pizzas otra vez, pero estas eran diferentes.

Finalmente, nos fuimos a casa.

Today was our last day of school. First thing in the morning, we went to the bowling alley to bowl and they divided us into different teams. They put me with Linnea and some of her friends.

After bowling, we went back to class, we ate a meal that was quite delicious for me, and at the last minute we were taken to a classroom where people were drawing and coloring. The three of us also started painting while we talked, until it was time to leave.

It was very cool to have gone to that school, even though some of the food was not very tasty.

Then, we played to a type of "Lasertag" in the shopping centre which we loved It.

Later, I stayed home for an hour while Linnea went to dance class, and when we picked her up, we went swimming in a frozen lake outside. We loved it! We bathed twice, between each bath entering an entrance to a collective sauna.

Then, we went to Asta's House and we hada for dinner pizzas, again, but these were different.

Finally, we went to home.

Fourth day in Finland/ Cuarto día en Finlandia

Jueves, 14 de marzo de 2024:

Hoy en el colegio, a primera hora, fuimos a jugar a diferentes ejercicios de golf para practicar el tiro. También vimos cómo bailaban un grupo de niñas el baile del "Waka-waka" de Just Dance.

Después del colegio, nos fuimos de compras, donde me compré bastante ropa, regalos para mí familia y un regalo de agradecimiento para Linnea, con ayuda de Paola y su compañera Hilja. ¡A Linnea le encantó el regalo! Se puso a decir en inglés:

–Is It really?!–, tal como predijo Hilja.

Me dio las gracias y un gran abrazo. Era una camiseta que ella quería para llevarla al baile. 

Después de eso, seguimos comprando y luego fuimos a la casa de la compañera de Sofía, Asta a comer pizzas.

Nos lo pasamos muy bien allí. 

Después, nos fuimos cada una a su casa.

Fue un día divertido.

Resultad

Today at school, first thing in the morning, we went to play different golf exercises to practice shooting. We also saw how a group of girls danced the "Waka-waka" dance from Just Dance.

After school, we went shopping, where I bought a lot of clothes, gifts for my family and a thank-you gift for Linnea, with the help of Paola and her classmate Hilja. Linnea loved the gift! He began to say in English:

–Is It really?!–, just as Hilja predicted.

She thanked me and gave me a big hug. It was a shirt that she wanted to wear to the dance.

After that, we continued shopping and then went to Sofia's classmate Asta's house to eat pizzas.

We had a great time there.

Afterwards, we each went home.

It was a funny day.

"Enjoying New Activities"

The last day at the institute has been quite an experience! From a history class on the discovery of America from various perspectives to an exciting hour at the bowling alley, followed by activities like painting and English classes. But the hardest part was saying goodbye to Päivikki, although we know we'll meet again in May. Afterwards, we explored Tanelinlampi, a frozen lake, along with a sauna! The company of our students and other mothers made this adventure even more special. What an incredible day we've had!

 ¡El último día en el instituto ha sido toda una experiencia! Desde una clase de historia sobre el descubrimiento de América con perspectivas diversas hasta una emocionante hora en la bolera, seguida de actividades como pintura y clases de inglés. Pero lo más difícil fue despedirse de Päivikki, aunque sabemos que nos reencontraremos en mayo. Después, exploramos Tanelinlampi, un lago helado, ¡junto a una sauna! La compañía de nuestras alumnas y otras madres hizo que esta aventura fuera aún más especial. ¡Qué día tan increíble hemos tenido!

Third day in Finland/ Tercer día en Finlandia:

Miércoles, 13 de marzo de 2024:

Lo primero que hicimos fue prepararnos para ir al colegio. Esta vez, en vez de quedarnos junto con los demás compañeros de clase, nos fuimos a diferentes aulas, cuyos niños de allí construían, aserraban, golpeaban, etc para elaborar diferentes cosas. Nosotros nos fuimos a la clase donde había unas chicas aserrando madera. Allí, cortamos una pequeña tabla de madera con la bandera de Finlandia pintada.

Después de eso, nos fuimos de excursión a una gigantesca pista de patinaje sobre hielo, donde patinamos y lo pasamos genial (o casi todos). 

Después, salimos de allí, subimos varias cuestas, nos resbalamos alguna vez y llegamos a un sitio muy bonito donde había una barbacoa. Después de almorzar, la monitora encendió la hoguera y estuvo preparando salchichas mientras nosotros nos tirábamos por las colinas con los trineos que trajimos. Más tarde, nos llamaron para comer y aquella fue la primera vez que calenté nubes y me las comí de esa forma. Estaba todo muy rico. La parte mala era que no me dio tiempo a tirarme por sitios más altos, ya que solamente me tiré dos veces.

Cuando nos marchamos todos a nuestras casas, fui en bicicleta junto con Linnea y unas pocas niñas más. Fuimos un momento a casa de Linnea y después a la de Hiljia (la compañera de Paola), donde tomamos más nubes calientes y vimos una película y algunas series.

Finalmente, llegó la hora de cenar y de irse a casa, así que nos despedimos.

Fourth day in Finland

 First,  I woke up and I had breakfast. I dressed and I went to the school, there we had a lesson of golf. I had lunch.

When the school ended I went to the Asta’s house with my sister, Hilja, Linnea and Sofía Acha, then we went to the Shopping centre, Idea Park

 In Idea Park we ate burgers.

We bought many things.

Finally, we went to Asta’s house and we ate pizza.🍕 

I went to the house and I went to sleep.

It was an interesting day.

Fourth day in Finland / Cuarto día en Finlandia

Gabriel : I woke up, I get dressed and I had breakfast, I went to the school, had classes and when we finished, Aaron, Yeray, Aaro and me went to the shopping centre, we had some snacks and we went to the minigolf zone, we played and after that we went to a restaurant, playing Brawl Stars.

I went to my home, get dinner and went to a sauna, we went multiples times to the ice lake and back to the sauna, after that the back home.

I prepared my things for tomorrow and I went to the bed.

Me levanté, me vestí y desayuné, fui a la escuela, tuvimos clases y cuando terminamos, Aaron, Yeray, Aaro y yo fuimos al centro comercial, tuvimos snacks y fuimos a la área de minigolf, jugamos y después de eso fuimos a un restaurante, jugamos Brawl Stars.

Llegué a casa, cené y fuimos a la sauna, fuimos múltiples veces al lago congelado y volvimos a la sauna, después de eso volví a casa.

Preparé mis cosas para mañana y me fui a dormir.

Antonio:Hoy ya me he levantado mejor y sin fiebre y he podido ir al colegio en bicicleta.Hemos practicado golf en la primera hora y le hemos enseñado a los finlandeses comidas típicas de España y lo que nos gusta hacer.

He llegado a la casa y hemos cenado pizza.

Después nos hemos ido al parque de actividades y nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.Habia muchas colchonetas y zonas con diferentes deportes.

Más tarde hemos llegado a casa y hemos comido salmón con puré de patatas,hemos jugado al ping pong y me he acostado s las 11.

Today I woke up better and without fever and I could go to the school by bike.We practised golf in the first hour and we teached finish people typical food in Spain and things we like to do. 

We arrived at the house and we had pizza for dinner.

Later we went to the activity park and we had fun.There were many mats and different sports zones.

Then we arrived home and we ate salmon with mashed potatoes,we played ping pong and I went to bed at eleven o'clock.

Yeray : Golf, Tiendas y Museo

Today, we played golf with golf players at the school. Also, we were in several classes such as math,science or english. When the classes finished, I went with Aaron, Gabriel and Aaro to the shopping center, where we played mini golf and visited some shops. Afterwards, I went with my family to a museum, where there were some paintings and projected videos. It was amazing! 

Hoy jugamos a golf con jugadores de golf en el colegio. También, estuvimos en diferentes clases como matemáticas, ciencia o inglés. Cuando las clases terminaron, fui con Aaron, Gabriel y Aaro al centro comercial, donde jugamos al minigolf y visitamos varias tiendas. Después, fui con mi familia a un museo, donde había varios cuadros y videos proyectados. ¡Fue increíble!

First day in Finland/ Primer día en Finlandia

Lunes, 11 de marzo de 2024:

Tras estar unas 6 horas metidos en el avión, por fin llegamos a Finlandia y tras un par de horas en tren y en tranvía, ¡por fin llegamos a Seinajoki!

Después de llegar, fuimos al colegio de allí, comimos alrededor de las 11 y dimos un pequeño paseo alrededor de la ciudad. ¡Era muy bonita!

Más tarde, nos fuimos cada una con nuestra nueva compañera a su casa. La mia se llamaba Linnea, era muy amable y divertida, le gustaba maquillarse y me enseñó mi nueva habitación. Después de hacer la maleta a la vez que charlaba con ella, me fui a su clase de baile, para hacerle compañía, junto con Sofía G. y su compañera, Asta. Ese fue un día especial para todas las niñas de la clase, ya que en vez de practicar baile contemporáneo, practicaron acrobacias y al final de la sesión, hicieron un baile espectacular para la siguiente clase. ¡Me encantó!

Más tarde, volvimos todas a sus casas, cené una comida muy rica, similar a los tacos y como estaba muy cansada, me fui a dormir más o menos a las 9:15.

Fue un día inolvidable y aprendí muchas cosas sobre Finlandia y las costumbres de la gente de allí.

After spending about 6 hours on the plane, we finally arrived in Finland and after a couple of hours by train and tram, we finally arrived in Seinajoki!

After arriving, we went to the school there, ate around 11 and took a short walk around the city. She was very pretty!

Later, we each went with our new partner to her house. Mine was called Linnea, she was very kind and fun, she liked to do makeup and she showed me my new room. After packing my suitcase while chatting with her, I went to her dance class, to keep her company, along with Sofía G. and her partner, Asta. That was a special day for all the girls in the class, because instead of practicing contemporary dance, they practiced acrobatics and at the end of the session, they did a spectacular dance for the next class. I loved!

Later, we all went back to their houses, I had a very delicious meal, similar to tacos, and since I was very tired, I went to sleep around 9:15.

It was an unforgettable day and I learned many things about Finland and the customs of the people there.

Second day in Finland/ Segundo día en Finlandia:

Martes, 12 de marzo de 2024:

Hoy a las 9:00, tras prepararnos todos en las casas de nuestros compañeros finlandeses, fuimos por segunda vez al colegio de allí (colegio Marttilan):

Después de entrar, subimos con los finlandeses a la clase de sexto en la que estuvimos ayer. Allí, asistimos a la clase de inglés (en la que los alumnos hicieron un kahoot), matemáticas (donde, junto con los alumnos, hicimos un par de fichas, etc. 

Después de ir al colegio, me fui a esquiar con Paola, mi amiga Linnea y con la suya, Hilja. Me caí una vez. Además, era la primera vez que montaba en aquel tipo de esquís, ya que los de España son diferentes. Después de eso, nos fuimos a casa media hora, para comer.

Más tarde, fuimos a casa de la compañera de Paola a ver una película junto con unas cuantas chuches. Sin embargo, pocos minutos después, tuvimos que irnos porque teníamos que cenar, pero luego regresamos.

Probamos el regaliz de allí (que no me gustó mucho) y también el chocolate que tenían, que estaba delicioso.

Después de ver la película, volví a casa con mi compañera Linnea, jugué un poco con su perro, me metí por primera vez en la sauna del servicio (me encantó aquella experiencia) y me fui a la cama. 

Fue un día alucinante.

Today, at 9.00, afrer off us getting ready at the houses of our Finnish classmates, we went for the second time top the school there (Marttilan school).

After entering, web went up with the Finnish to the 6thB grade class web were yesterday. There, web atended the English class (in which the students did a kahoot), matemáticas (where, together, with the students, we did a pair of sheets, etc.

After going to school, I went skiing with Paola, with my friend Linnea and hers, Hilja. I fell once. In fact, it was the first time I rode that type of skis, because the ones of Spain are different. After that, we went home for half an hour to eat.

Later, we went to Paola's partner's House to watch a movie along with a few sweets. However, a few minutes later, we had to leave because we had to have dinner, but then we came back.

We tried the licorice from there (which I didn't like very much) and also the chocolate they had, which was delicious.

After watching the movie, I returned home with my partner Linnea, I played a little with her dog, went into the service sauna for the first time (I loved that experience) and went to the bed.

Ir was an amazing day.

Today it rains on the snowy streets.

Today dawned with rain. The snow is starting to melt, everything is wet and gray, although the white mounds still shine alongside the road, in the squares, and on the rooftops.

We began our classes by learning golf, a fun activity in which our students participated with their new classmates. Subsequently, the teachers attended a special education class. The faculty taught us different methodologies and strategies to work with at every moment and subject. After this session, the soft bell rings, leading us to the dining hall. After recharging our energy, we head to the library, thus concluding our day in the classrooms.

To continue with our teaching duties, we head to the marvelous library designed by Alvar Aalto. We end the day by dining in the vicinity of the hotel.

Hoy ha amanecido lloviendo. La nieve comienza a derretirse, todo está mojado y gris, aunque siguen brillando los montículos blancos junto a la carretera, las plazas y los tejados. 

Comenzamos nuestras clases aprendiendo golf, una actividad divertida en la cual nuestro alumnado ha participado junto a sus nuevos compañeros. Posteriormente, las profesoras hemos asistido a una clase de educación especial. El profesorado nos ha enseñado diferentes metodologías y estrategias para trabajar en cada momento y materia. Tras esta jornada, suena el suave timbre que nos lleva al comedor. Después de volver a cargarnos de energía, nos vamos a la biblioteca, dando así por finalizada nuestra jornada en las aulas. 

Para continuar con nuestra labor docente, nos vamos a la maravillosa biblioteca proyectada por Alvar Aalto. Finalizamos el día cenando en las proximidades del hotel. 

Third day in Finland/ Tercer día en Finlandia

Gabriel : I woke up and got dressed, I had breakfast and going to school. We went to the workcraft and made some things.

We got some shoes for skate and a sledge. First we practise skate and later we throwed from a Big mountain with the sledge.

We ate some sausages and marshmallows and we went to our home, but with Yeray.

We played and saw some tiktoks and they went to their house, we dinnered, I prepared my things for tomorrow and went to sleep.

Me levanté y me vestí, desayuné y fui a la escuela. Fuimos al taller y creamos diferentes cosas.

Cogimos algunos zapatos de skate y un trineo. Primero practicamos skate y luego nos tiramos de una gran montaña con el trineo.

Comimos algunas salchichas y esponjitas y nos fuimos a nuestra casa, pero con Yeray.

Jugamos y vimos tiktoks y se fueron a sus casas, cenamos, preparé las cosas para mañana y me dormí.

Antonio:Hoy me he levantado a las 7 y cuarto y hemos ido al colegio en coche.

En el colegio,he cortado un trozo de madera con una sierra,y luego la he pintado como la bandera de Finlandia.

Después Konsta me ha prestado unos patines,un casco y un trineo para hacer patinaje sobre hielo y deslizarnos con el trineo por cuestas.Me he caído muchas veces,pero ha estado muy bien.Hicimos una hoguera y comimos salchichas y malvaviscos .Cenamos tortitas con la familia del padre y estaban muy buenas.

Después me ha recogido su padre y hemos ido a la pista donde juegan futbol y beisbol finlandés.Me dejaron jugar al fútbol y bateé algunas bolas.

Después de eso el padre me hizo un minitour por toda su ciudad natal llamada Kurikka.

Después de eso tuve fiebre y estaba muy cansado,así que me tomé la medicina y me fui a dormir.

Today I woke up at quarter past seven and we went to the school by car.In the school,I cut a piece of wood with a saw

and then I painted it like the finish flag.Later Konsta lent me ice skates,a helmet and a sledge to do ice skating and sledging.I fell many times,but it was so good.

We made a bonfire and we ate sausages and marshmallows.The dinner was pancakes with his father's family and it was delicious.Then,his father picked us up to the pitch when they play football and finish baseball.They let me to play football with them and I hit a few balls.After that,the father made me a minitour around his city, Kurikka.Next I had fever and I was really tired,so I ate the medicine and I went to sleep.

Yeray : Excursiones y película

Today, we were in craft class, but I preferred not to do anything, only look. Then, we went to an ice rink where I preferred, again, look and not ice skating. After, we went to a mountain where we ate sausages and marshmallows and we went sledding. When school finished I went to Gabriel's house to watch a movie.

Finally, I tasted finnish candies, they are similar to those in Spain. 

Hoy, estuvimos en clase de “tecnología”, pero yo preferí no hacer nada, solo mirar. Después, fuimos a una pista de hielo donde preferí, otra vez, mirar y no patinar sobre hielo. Después, fuimos a una montaña donde comimos salchichas y marshmallows y nos tiramos en trineo.

Cuando el colegio terminó, fui a la casa de Gabriel para ver una película. 

Por último, probé caramelos finlandeses, son parecidos a los de España.

Third day in Finland

 I woke up and I had breakfast. Then I dressed and I went to the school. There were two hours of crafts and I did a Finnish flag🇫🇮. 

I went with all the class and the teachers at ice skating rink and there I skated on the ice.⛸️

Then, we went to the snow and we had fun in the snow❄️

The teacher Päivikki did sausages on the bonfire and then we are the sausages. 🌭

I went to the house and there some girls did marshmellows🍡on the fire and we did a tik tok.

I had dinner, tacos 🌮.

I visited Hilja’s grandparents.

I had a shower.🚿

I ate the evening snak, it was a omelet with ham and cheese.

Finally, I went to sleep.😴
