Días 6 y 7

Nuestro viaje va llegando a su fin. Estos dos últimos días hemos podido disfrutar de uno de los parajes naturales de la zona, el lago Eymir. Nos relajamos dando un paseo por el inmenso bosque que le rodea donde nos encontramos con un paisaje cargado de belleza y donde se respira tranquilidad. 

 

Our journey is coming to an end. These last two days we have been able to enjoy one of the natural landscapes of the area, Lake Eymir. We have relaxed by taking a walk through the immense forest that surrounds it where we have found a landscape full of beauty and where you can breathe tranquility. 

Día 5

El quinto día amanece lluvioso. A primera hora de la mañana fuimos a una escuela a las afueras de Ankara con unos 1100 alumnos. Nos quedamos impresionados con sus instalaciones y la cálida acogida de los profesores que nos reciben. Tenemos la oportunidad de conocer de la mano de la coordinadora, Seher Fatma, el programa Ecoescuela y el desarrollo de los proyectos STEAM, en línea con el trabajo que realizamos en nuestro centro. Por la tarde, visitamos el Jardín Botánico Nacional, nos muestran cómo clasifican las plantas y especies de la zona, los laboratorios y algunos jardines, siendo el objetivo principal la protección y conservación de la biodiversidad del país. 

The day broke with rain. Firstly, in the morning, we went to a school on the outskirts of Ankara, it has around 1100 students. We were impressed with its facilities and the warm welcome of the teachers who receive us. We had the opportunity to learn from the coordinator, Seher Fatma, the Ecoescuela program and the development of STEAM projects, in line with the work we do at our center. In the afternoon, we visit the National Botanical Garden, they showed us how they classify the plants and species of the area, the laboratories and some gardens, the main objective is the protection and conservation of the country's biodiversity.

Día 4

Entorno natural de Goreme y valles

En el cuarto día nos sorprende el paisaje del Parque Nacional de Goreme, conocido también como Museo al aire libre de Goreme, que fue declarado patrimonio de la humanidad por la Unesco. Tenemos la oportunidad de adentrarnos en un paraje natural cargado de historia. El paso del tiempo y la erosión nos dibuja una magnífica estampa. Finalizamos recorriendo el sendero de 4 kilómetros entre Göreme y Uçhisar; el cual pasa por Pigeon Valley y ofrece unas vistas espectaculares de la riqueza natural del entorno. 

Goreme and valleys

On the fourth day we are surprised by the landscape of the Goreme National Park, also known as the Goreme Open Air Museum, which was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. We have the opportunity to enter into a natural area rich in history. The passage of time and erosion draw us a wonderful picture. We end up walking the 4-kilometre path between Göreme and Uçhisar; which passes through Pigeon Valley and offers spectacular views of the natural wealth of the environment.

Dia 3

Camino a Capadocia.

En nuestra tercera jornada nos desplazamos a la región de Capadocia.  De camino, hacemos un pequeño descanso en el segundo mayor lago de Turquía, ubicado en la región de Anatolia central. Su nombre significa lago de sal (Tuz Gölü) y se caracteriza por contener agua de lluvia y por su biodiversidad, destacando en la zona sur el flamenco como animal de referencia. El paisaje nos ofrece pintorescos detalles que podríamos aplicar en nuestro centro.

On our third day we moved to the Cappadocia region. On the way, we make a short break at the second largest lake in Turkey, located in the Central Anatolian region. Its name means salt lake (Tuz Gölü) and is characterized by containing rainwater and its biodiversity, highlighting the flamingo in the southern area as a reference animal. The landscape offers us picturesque details that we could apply in our center.

El día comienza con la visita a la Asociación TEMA, donde de la mano de una de sus integrantes hemos conocido las acciones sostenibles que llevan a cabo a distintos niveles por todo el país. Posteriormente, hemos tenido la oportunidad de visitar la Universidad TOBB de Economía y Tecnología. La jornada ha finalizado en la Biblioteca Nacional, que realmente nos ha dejado impresionados. 

The day begins with a visit to the TEMA Association, where one of its members has told about  sustainable actions carried out at different levels throughout the country. Subsequently, we had the opportunity to visit the TOBB Economy and Technology University. The day ended at the National Library, which really impressed us. 

 Día 1

Comenzamos con ilusión nuestra aventura en tierras turcas. En nuestra primera jornada conocemos a nuestros colegas rumanos que compartirán esta formación con nosotros. En primer lugar nos dirigimos a la Universidad de Ankara donde el Profesor-Doctor Hakan ATES nos da a conocer su país y el trabajo que realiza la organización Cengiz Project. Posteriormente, tenemos la ocasión de conocer el castillo y el impresionante museo de Anatolia.

We begin our adventure in Turkey with enthusiasm. First of all, we meet our Romanian colleagues who are sharing this training. Then we went to the University of Ankara where Professor-Doctor Hakan ATES introduced us to his country and the work carried out by the Cengiz Project organization. Later, we have the opportunity to visit the castle and the impressive Anatolian museum.
