Snow day and games.

Wednesday in Seinäjoki. Today has been an even more special day; we've been skating on a rink used for both hockey and skating. Our students have enjoyed this activity. Later, we went to a ski slope. Here, we were lucky to practice sledding along with a barbecue of sausages and marshmallows. After this exhausting morning, we visited the Suojeluskunta & Lotta Svärd museum. This building was designed by Alvar Aalto and completed in 1926. Originally used as offices for the South Ostrobothnia Civil Guard and the Lotta Svärd Association. To end our day, we dined with the Clil teaching staff collaborating with our Erasmus project. A very interesting and welcoming evening that has further strengthened our bonds of friendship.

Miércoles en Seinäjoki. Hoy ha sido un día aún más especial, hemos estado patinando en una pista que se usa tanto para hockey como para patinar. Nuestro alumnado ha disfrutado con esta actividad. Posteriormente, hemos ido a una pista de Ski. Aquí hemos tenido la suerte de practicar con los trineos junto a una barbacoa de salchichas y marshmallows. Tras esta agotadora mañana, hemos visitado el museo Suojeluskunta & Lotta Svärd. Este edificio fue diseñado por Alvar Aalto y terminado en 1926. Originalmente se usó como oficinas de la Guardia Civil de Ostrobotnia del Sur y la Asociación Lotta Svärd. Para terminar nuestro día, hemos cenado con el profesorado Clil que colabora con nuestro proyecto Erasmus. Una velada muy interesante y acogedora que ha unido aún más nuestros lazos de amistad. 

Second day on Finland / segundo día en Finlandia

Gabriel : I woke up at 7:30 and I dressed, I had breakfast and walk to school, when I arrived, I wait for my group and we went to the class.

We had religion and maths, in the next hour we went to the library, then we came back to our class, we explained our college and dance tipical things from Spain.

We went to our houses, I went upstairs to regain energy, then, we have the idea of going to practise skii, we went to the site and I learn how to skii, later we went to a frozen lake and go home.

I prepared my things for the next day and took a nap.

Me levanté a las 7:30 y me vestí, desayuné y caminé hacia la escuela, cuando llegamos, esperé a mi grupo y fuimos a las clases.

Tuvimos religión y matemáticas, el la siguiente hora, fuimos a la biblioteca, después volvimos a la clase, explicamos nuestro instituto y bailamos típicas cosas de España.

Nos fuimos a nuestras casas, fui a la planta de arriba para recuperar energía, después, tuvimos la idea de practicar esquí, fuimos al sitio y aprendí a esquiar, después fuimos a un lago congelado y volvimos a casa.

Preparé mis cosas para mañana y dormí.

Antonio : Hoy me he levantado a las 8 y cuarto y me he ido al colegio.Hemos explicado cosas sobre nuestro instituto y hemos bailado la Macarena y flamenco.Hemos almorzado patata y croquetas de pescado con zanahorias y salsa.

Hemos llegado a la casa y hemos estado con el móvil.Hemos cenado pasta y después nos hemos ido al supermercado para comprar chuches y chocolate y me han comprado chocolate finlandes para llevármelo a Algeciras.Después hemos llegado a la casa y nos hemos acostado a las 11

Today I woke up at quarter past eight and I went to school.We explained how our high school works and we danced The Macarena and flamenco.We ate potato with fish croquettes and carrots with a sauce.

We arrived home and we were with the mobile phone.Our dinner was pasta and later we went to the supermarket to buy candies and chocolate and they bought me some finish chocolate to bring to Algeciras.After that,we arrived at home and we slept at 11

Yeray:

Today we were with the class at the school. We listened to the teacher's explanations and we did math’s activities. Also, we explained to the class how our high school is, our project about Eco-escuela, and the different visits that they will do. In the afternoon I went to the supermarket and I went skiing with Aaron's family. 

I had a great time!

Hoy estábamos con la clase en el colegio. Escuchamos las explicaciones de los maestros e hicimos actividades de matemáticas. También, les explicamos como es nuestro instituto, nuestro proyecto de Eco-escuela, y las diferentes visitas que harán. Por la tarde fui al supermercado y a esquiar con la familia de Aaron. ¡Me lo pasé genial!

Day 3 in Finland

Day 3 in Finland:🇫🇮

We started the day going to school, in my case by bike, the first hour was crafts and we made some wooden things with all the tools, then we walked to an ice rink where we skated and later to the mountain where we could jump from the sleigh and make sausages on the fire. Later I went to a girl's house, where there were also many other girls from the class. I have had a nice time.

Empezamos el día yendo al colegio, en mi caso en bicicleta, la primera hora fue de manualidades y hicimos unas cosas de madera con todas las herramientas, luego caminamos hasta una pista de hielo donde patinamos  y después  a la montaña donde podíamos tirarnos con el trineo y hacer salchichas en fuego. Más tarde fui a la casa de una niña, donde también había muchas otras niñas de la clase. Me lo he pasado muy bien.

We started the day by going to school where we were able to see various explanations in class, we ate there and each of us went home. I went to ice skating training with the girl who took me in, then I went to the supermarket to buy some snacks and we went to a friend's house to watch a movie. This day has been incredible since I have been able to see how they live in this country.

Empezamos el día yendo al colegio donde pudimos ver explicaciones en clase, comimos allí y cada uno se fue a casa. Fui  a ver el entreno de patinaje sobre hielo de la chica que me acogió, luego fui al supermercado a comprar unos snacks y fuimos a casa de una amiga a ver una película. Este día ha sido increíble porque he podido  ver cómo se vive en este país.

Second day in Finland.

 I woke up at 7:00 am and I had breakfast a sandwich and orange juice.🥪 Then I dressed, I went to the school and I learnt how the finnish have class.

 At 11:30 I had lunch meatballs and potatoes.

 I stayed with the teachers and the others students who went with me.

I went to the house and then I ski.

I had dinner meatballs and mashed potatoes. It was really good.

My sister Sofía, the girl who host Sofía, Sofía Acha, the girl who host Sofía Acha, Hilja and me watched a horror film “La monja” and we ate some sweets and chips.

I had a shower and  finally I went to sleep.

Me levanté a las 7:00 am y desayuné un sándwich y jugo de naranja. Luego me vestí. 

Fui a la escuela y aprendí cómo tienen clase los finlandeses. 

A las 11:30 almorcé albóndigas con patatas. Me quedé con los profesores y los demás alumnos que iban conmigo. 

Fui a la casa y luego esquié. 

Cené albóndigas y puré de patatas. Todo estaba muy bueno. 

Mi hermana Sofía, la chica que acoge a Sofía, Sofía Acha, la chica que acoge a Sofía Acha, Hilja y yo vimos una película de terror “La monja” y comimos unos dulces y patatas fritas.

 Me di una ducha y finalmente me fui a dormir.

First day in Finland.

 We arrived in Finland, Helsinki at 6:00am. Then we had breakfast in a café, where I drank a hot chocolate.

Then we took the train to Seinäjoki. At 11:20 we arrived at Seinäjoki and Ken, he is a teacher of Marttilan Koulu, brought us to the school and we had lunch, chicken with curry with rice. 
Then some students showed us their school.
Päivikki, a teacher of the school who showed us Seinäjoki, she showed the city hall, the church and the library.
Finally we went with our host family. I talked with the family, I had dinner, pasta, I had a shower and finally I went to sleep.
Llegamos a Finlandia, Helsinki a la 6:00 am. Después desayunamos en una cafetería, donde bebimos chocolate caliente.
Después cogimos el tren a Seinäjoki. A las 11:20 llegamos a Seinäjoki y Ken, es un profesor de Marttilan Koulu, nos llevó al colegio y comimos, pollo con curry con arroz.
Después algunos estudiantes nos enseñaron su colegio.
Päivikki una profesora del colegio nos enseñó Seinäjoki, nos enseñó el ayuntamiento, la iglesia y la biblioteca.
Finalmente nos fuimos con la familia de acogida. Estuve hablando con la familia, cené pasta, me duché y finalmente me fui a dormir.

Day 1 in Finland

The day started very exciting, when we arrived in Seinajoki after a long trip, Ken was waiting for us, who took us to the institute and fed us, later they gave us a tour of the city and we each went with our host families. It has been an incredible day.

El día empezó muy emocionante, cuando llegamos a Seinajoki después de un largo viaje, nos esperaba Ken, quién nos llevó al instituto y nos dieron de comer, después nos dieron un tour por la ciudad y fuimos cada uno con nuestras familias de acogida.

Ha sido un día increíble.
