Bačka Palanka. Day 1

Hoy, lunes 6 de mayo hemos tenido nuestra primera toma de contacto con la capital de Serbia, Belgrado. Hemos podido conocer algunos de sus monumentos más emblemáticos tales como la fortaleza Kalemegdan, diferentes iglesias ortodoxas como la de St. Sava o San Marcos, el parlamento, la plaza de la República y pasear por algunas de sus calles donde se aprecia la huella de la guerra a lo largo de la historia.

Probablemente, mucha gente no sepa que esta ciudad ha sido destruida y construida hasta en 40 ocasiones. 

Antes de iniciar nuestro camino hacia Bačka Palanka pudimos disfrutar de su gastronomía y probar su plato más típico: el cevapi, preparado a base de diferentes carnes y especias. ¡Una delicia!

Nuestro agotador día acaba en el hotel Fontana donde recargamos pilas para el día siguiente.

Today, Monday 6th May, we had our first contact with the capital of Serbia, Belgrade. We were able to see some of its most emblematic monuments such as the Kalemegdan fortress, various Orthodox churches such as St Sava's or St Mark's, the Parliament, the Republic Square and walk through some of its streets where you can see the imprint of war throughout history. Manu people probably do not know that this city has been destroyed and rebuilt up to 40 times. 

Before heading to Bačka Palanka, we can enjoy its gastronomy and taste its most typical dish: cevapi, prepared with various meats and spices. A delight!

Our tiring day ends at the Fontana Hotel, where we can recharge our batteries for the next day.

As part of our Erasmus program "Thinking in green to grow sustainably", two teachers are moving to Backa Palanca in Serbia to carry out a job shadowing period in a school which has the green flag (one of our objectives). During a week, they are going to observe and learn about different aspects related to eco-school. 

Como parte de nuestro proyecto Erasmus "Pensando en verde para crecer sosteniblemente", dos profesoras se están desplazando hasta Backa Palanka en Serbia para llevar a cabo un período de observación en un centro que tiene la bandera verde ( uno de nuestro objetivos). Durante una semana, van a observar y aprender sobre distintos aspectos relacionados con eco-escuela.

Seventh day in Finland ( Helsinforgs ) / Séptimo día en Finlandia ( Helsinki )

Gabriel : Me levanté, me vestí, preparé todo, maleta, mochila, riñonera, móvil... Lo bajé, me hice una foto con la familia y desayuné, cogimos el coche y llegamos a la estación de trenes y me despedí de la familia, pillamos un tren a Helsinki.

Llegamos a Helsinki, dejamos las maletas en el hotel, y fuimos a ver la ciudad, compramos recuerdos, probamos el Glögi, vimos catedrales, una isla y la biblioteca Oodi.

Cenamos en un restaurante y volvimos al hotel, preparé las cosas para mañana, hablé un poco con Antonio y Yeray y nos dormimos.

I woke up, I got dressed, I prepared everything, backage, backpacks, mobile phone... I put It downstairs, I did a photo with the family and get breakfast, we catched the car and went to the train station and I said bye to the family, we catched a train to Helsinki.

We arrived at Helsinki, left our backage in the hotel and we went to see the city, we bought reminds, we tasted the Glögi, saw cathedrals, an island and the library Oodi.

We dinnered at a restaurant and we come back to the hotel, I prepared my things for tomorrow, I talked a little bit with Antonio and Yeray and we slept.

Antonio: Hoy me he levantado a las 8:15 y me despedí de Konsta.La madre me llevó a la estación de trenes y nos despedimos de todos antes de irnos a Helsinki.Fue un viaje de tres horas y cuando llegamos dejamos todas las cosas en el hotel.Lo primero que hicimos fue ir a una iglesia luterana con un coro.Más tarde fuimos a comprar imanes y probamos el gloggi(Una bebida típica de Finlandia)y nos comimos unos perritos calientes.

Nos montamos en un barco para ir a visitar una isla.No la visitamos entera,pero estuvo muy bien.

Cuando volvimos,fuimos a una biblioteca muy grande.Despues de la biblioteca fuimos a cenar.Me pedí una hamburguesa de carne de alce y estaba muy buena.

Llegamos a el hotel,me duche y me quedé dormido

Today I woke up at 8:15 and I said goodbye to Konsta.His mother brought me to the train station and we said goodbye to everybody before we went to Helsinki.It was a three hours trip and when we arrived we left all the things in the hotel.The first thing we did was to go to the lutheran cathedral with a chorus.Later we went to bought some fridge magnets and we tried the gloggi(A typical finish drink)and we ate hot dogs.

We took a ship to went to visit an island.We didn't saw it at all,but It was very good.

When we returned,we went to a huge library.After visiting the library we went to had dinner.I ordered a hamburger with elk meat and It was very good.

When we arrived to the hotel,I had a shower and I felt asleep

Yeray : Goodbye Finland

Hoy me despedí de mi familia, de Jarmo y Eerin en casa, y de Leila y Aaron en la estación de tren.Fuimos de Seinajöki hasta Helsinki.Después, fuimos al Hotel Finn a dejar las maletas. Cuando terminamos de dejar las cosas fuimos a visitar una iglesia luterana, donde había un coro cantando. Luego, probamos una bebida típica finlandesa llamada ‘Gloggi’(estaba buena). Cuando terminamos, cogimos un barco hacia una isla cercana y vimos como era. Cuando vimos la isla fuimos de vuelta a Helsinki. En esta segunda vez, visitamos una gran biblioteca, y después, fuimos a cenar en un restaurante. ¡Estaba todo buenísimo! Finalmente, fuimos al hotel y descansamos. (Me gustaría volver algún día).

Today I said goodbye to my family, of Jarmo and Eerin at home, and of Leila and Aaron at the train station. We went from Seinäjoki to Helsinki. After, we went to Hotel Finn, where we left the suitcases and school bags. When we finished to leaving everything we went to visit a luther cathedral, where there was a chorus singing. Then, we tasted a typical Finnish drink called ‘Gloggi’(it was good). When we finished, we took a ship to a nearby island and we saw how it was. When we saw the island we returned to Helsinki. This second time, we visited a big library, and then, we went to dinner at a restaurant. ¡Everything was great! Finally, we went to the hotel and rested. (I would like to return one day).

Sixth day in Finland / Sexto día en Finlandia

Gabriel : I woke up, got dressed and had breakfast, we picked the car and went to the zoo.

When we arrived, we waited for the other people and saw the shop. Later, everyone arrived and we saw the zoo, with animals like: Panda, Red Pandas, Bears, Deers, Wolfs, Foxes, etc...

After we saw the zoo, we bought things from the shop and we did some snowmans. We picked the car and come back to home, I got dinner prepared my things for tomorrow and closed the backage.

Me levanté, me vestí y desayuné, cogimos el coche y vamos al zoo.

Cuando llegamos, esperamos a los demás y vimos la tienda. Después, llegaron todos y vimos el zoo, con animales como : Pandas, Pandas Rojos, Osos, Ciervos, Lobos, Zorros, etc...

Después de ver el zoo, compramos cosas de la tienda e hicimos algunos muñecos de nieve. Pillamos el coche y volvimos a casa, cené, preparé mis cosas para mañana y cerré la maleta.

Antonio:Hoy me he levantado a las 7 y cincuenta y he desayunado rápido porque me tenían que recoger para ir al zoo.Ha sido un viaje de 1 hora,y nada mas entrar hemos visto a los osos panda.

Después hemos ido viendo pandas rojos,lobos,leopardos de nieve y muchos animales de granja.Comimos en una hoguera con perritos calientes,patatas y pan con carne de reno.Cuando hemos terminado,hemos ido a la tienda de souvenirs y nos han regalado un iman a cada uno.Hemos hecho varios muñecos de nieve muy grandes entre todos,y volvimos a Seinäjoki.Cené fajitas y estuve un rato jugando al ping pong y al escondite y haciendo mi maleta.Me acoste a las 11.

Today I woke up at 7:50 and I had breakfast quite quickly because they had to picked up me to go to the zoo.It was a one-hour trip,and as soon as I entered the zoo we saw panda bears.

Later we saw red pandas,wolves,snow leopards and a lot of farm animals.We ate in a bonfire with hot dogs,chips and reindeer meat.When we finished,we went to the souvenirs' shop and they gave us magnets for all the people.We made some big snowmen together,and we went to Seinäjoki.I had fajitas for dinner and I played ping pong,hide and seek and I packed my suitcase.I went to bed at 11.

Yeray : Day at the Zoo.

Today, we went to the Zoo. At the Zoo, I saw a lot of animals that I had never seen, for example: lynxs, pandas, bears, owls… After, at the Zoo’s shop I bought fridge magnets and keychains. Finally, after dinner, my family gave me some presents. 

Hoy, fuimos al Zoo. En el Zoo, vi muchos animales que nunca había visto, por ejemplo: linces, pandas, osos, búhos… Después, en la tienda del Zoo compré imanes para la nevera y llaveros. Finalmente, después de cenar, mi familia me dio varios regalos.

Farewell and visit to Helsinki

This morning we said goodbye to our families in Seinäjoki, some tears and a see you soon marked these hours, with the firm desire to see each other again in May. After three hours on the train, reminiscing about adventures of this week and looking at photos, we arrived in Helsinki. The chilly air greeted us at the station. We reached the hotel and began to explore the city. We visited the Lutheran Cathedral and then the Orthodox one. We took the boat to the island of Suomenlinna, a surprise awaited us, as the ice crackled with each advance of the boat. We took a stroll through its streets, seeing its houses, the church, etc. We returned to the city to visit the library. An impressive building where we would spend more than an hour surrounded by such a pleasant atmosphere. And finally, we had dinner at a restaurant where we tasted some of the typical dishes. We ended the day packing our bags for the trip back home.

Esta mañana nos despedimos de nuestras familias en Seinäjoki, algunas lágrimas y un hasta pronto, han marcado estas horas, con el firme deseo de volver a vernos en mayo. Tras tres horas en el tren, recordando aventuras de esta semana y viendo fotos, llegamos a Helsinki. El gélido aire nos recibe en la estación. Llegamos al hotel, y empezamos a descubrir la ciudad. Visitamos la Catedral luterana y después la ortodoxa. Cogemos el barco a la isla de Suomenlinna, una sorpresa nos esperaba, mientras llegábamos el hielo crujía a cada avance del barco. Hemos dado un paseo por sus calles, viendo sus casas, la iglesia, etc. Regresamos a la ciudad para visitar la biblioteca. Un edificio impresionante dónde pasaríamos más de una hora envueltos en este ambiente tan agradable. Y finalmente, cenamos en un restaurante donde degustamos algunas de las comidas típicas. Acabamos el día preparando  las maletas para la vuelta a casa.

Fifth day in Finland

 I woke up and had breakfast, a croissant 🥐, an Orange juice 🧃 and a yougurt. I dressed and I went to the school. Then, we went to go bowling.

We went to the school for had lunch.

I went to the house and we ate a snak, a yogurt with granola. I went with other  people to played in Megalozonia , it is a Laser tac game.

I went to the house and we had dinner wok🍜, it was really good.

Then I went with Nanna and Hilja to took the teachers. 

Then, we were in a cold lake, it was really cold. 

And after of that we were in a sauna. It was a really interesting experience.

Sixth day in Finland

 I woke up and it was snowing!❄️ 

I had breakfast a sándwich with egg🍳 and a shake with 🥭,🍓and🍌. I dressed and I went to a zoo. In the zoo there were a lot of animals 🐻🐼🐔🫎🦉🐿️.

 I ate hot dogs.🌭

We did a snow man☃️

Then I went to the Hilja’s grandparents house and we had dinner mash potatoes with mouse.

I went to the house and I did my suitcase.

I did a tortilla de patatas 🥔 🥚.

I had shower and I went to the sauna.

I tasted the tortilla and it was really good.
