Plymouth, day 3 (20th March)
We visited today Plymstock school. It is the second best secondary education school in the Plymouth area in terms of parents’ satisfaction, educative board assessment and other factors.
Situated on the outskirts of Plymouth, it teaches from 7th to 11th year (equivalent to the Spanish compulsory education) and the 6th form or the preparation for college/University studies. 1,700 students in total and some 100 teachers. Amazing premises, unbelievably quiet corridors and lots of different subjects (drama, cookery, German, social care, ...)
We had the chance to enter some classrooms while lessons were taking place. Also, attended a very instructive and touching lecture from a police officer who told students (11 year old) about hate crime, tolerance and discrimination.
Priceless experience.

Plymouth, día 3 (20 de marzo)
Hoy visitamos “Plymstock school”, un. Centro educativo con muy buena reputación en la zona de Plymouth basado en satisfacción de las familias, análisis de inspectores y otros factores.
El centro está a las afueras de Plymouth y  recibe a 1.700 estudiantes desde 11 años a los 16 aproximadamente (equivalente a nuestra secundaria y bachillerato) y unos 100 profesores/as. Muy buenas instalaciones, increíble el silencio en todo el centro y gran variedad de materias (drama, alemán, cocina, servicios sociales,...)
Pudimos entrar en algunas aulas donde se estaban impartiendo clases y tuvimos la suerte de asistir a una charla muy interesante y conmovedora de un inspector de policía a estudiantes de 11 años sobre crímenes de odio, intolerancia y respeto.
Una experiencia impagable.
