Día 4 Ámsterdam

 Hoy hemos aprendido el valor de ser creativos, en la vida y en nuestro trabajo como docentes. La creatividad debe ser una herramienta en nuestro quehacer docente y nos permite ser más abiertos a la hora de entender a nuestro alumnado y a nosotros mismos. 

Por otra parte, hemos dedicado buena parte de la sesión de hoy al pensamiento crítico relacionado con las "Fake news", tarea nada fácil. 

Nuestra compañera Marta, además, ha aprovechado para hacer una preciosa ruta por los canales con otros compañeros del curso.

Today we have learned the value of being creative, in life and in our work as teachers. Creativity must be a tool in our teaching and allows us to be more open when it comes to understanding our students and ourselves.

 On the other hand, we have dedicated a good part of today's session to critical thinking related to "Fake news", a task that is not easy.

 Our colleague Marta has also taken the opportunity to make a beautiful route through the canals with other classmates.

Día 3 Ámsterdam

Today we have been talking about how important critical thinking is and how we can promote critical thinking skills in our students.

We have shared different experiencies about teaching to think slow, to do reflection, to compare different sources and to analyse the information.

In groups, we have designed both, factual and analitical activities for the same topic in order to provide a complete learning experience.

Día 2 Ámsterdam

 Hoy hemos tenido una jornada un tanto "peculiar": hemos ahondado en la primera "C", Comunicación, de diversas maneras. Hemos participado en un juego para visualizar lo complejo de la comunicación de una idea en el aula; hemos comunicado a través del lenguaje corporal y el baile (con gran entusiasmo por parte de los compañeros italianos y griegos, aunque los españoles no nos hemos quedado atrás); hemos aprendido técnicas de mejora de la participación, fishbowl class; y, sobre todo, cómo clasificar las destrezas de nuestro alumnado y las nuestras propias como docentes. 

Tras el curso hemos visitado el interesantísimo Museo Van Gogh, donde hemos podido sumergirnos en el maravilloso mundo de colores, formas y sensaciones del genial pintor holandés. 

Un día para recordar.

Today we have had a somewhat "peculiar" day: we have delved into the first "C", Communication, in various ways. We have used in a game to visualize the complex communication of an idea in the classroom; we have communicated through body language and dance (with great enthusiasm on the part of our Italian and Greek colleagues, although we Spaniards have not been left behind); we have learned techniques to improve participation, fishbowl class; and, above all, how to classify the skills of our students and our own as teachers.

After the course we have visited the very interesting Van Gogh Museum, where we have been able to immerse ourselves in the wonderful world of colours, shapes and sensations of the great Dutch painter.

A day to remember.

Día 1 Ámsterdam

 Today, we have started our ERASMUS course, THE 4 Cs ( Collaboration, Critical thinking, Communication and Creativity).

We have met our colleges from Greece, Italy, Spain and Slovakia. We have been discussing about how we awake  our students curiosity and some interesting ideas and different ways to work have been presented.

We are looking  foward to find out  how to improve THE 4 Cs in our school and to know more about our collegues experiences.

Hoy hemos comenzado nuestro curso ERASMUS, THE 4 Cs ( Collaboration, Critical thinking, Communication and Creativity).

Hemos conocido a nuestros compañeros de Grecia, Italia, España y Eslovaquia y hemos estado hablando de cómo despertar la curiosidad de nuestros estudiantes y han salido algunas ideas interesantes y diferentes formas de trabajarlo.

Estamos deseando saber más sobre cómo mejorar THE 4 Cs con nuestro alumnado y conocer las experiencias de nuestros compañeros de curso.

Próxima parada: Amsterdam/ Next Stop: Amsterdam

 Esta semana, los profesores Marta y Emilio se van a desplazar hasta Amsterdam para realizar un curso sobre las 4C: creatividad, pensamiento crítico, comunicación y colaboración. ¡Os esperamos con muchas ganas de aprender!

This week, our teachers Marta and Emilio are moving to Amsterdam to do a structured course about the 4C: Creativity, Critical thinking, Communication and Collaboration. We are looking forward to learning from you!!

Último día en Atenas

 Último día en esta magnifica ciudad. Hoy hemos dedicado el día entero a hacer turismo. Comenzamos la mañana cogiendo un bus turístico para hacer un recorrido por los principales monumentos de la ciudad, que a pesar de que ya conocíamos la mayoría hemos conocido otros muchos nuevos. Tras esto, hemos visitado el mercado central de la ciudad, con una zona de pescadería impresionante. Luego, hemos paseado por el centro de la ciudad para hacer algunas compras. Al final de la tarde hemos paseado por el barrio de Plaka para terminar disfrutando de una pintoresca parte de la ciudad.  Aquí se termina nuestra aventura, ya pronto a la cama que mañana cogemos el avión bien temprano. 

Last day in this magnificent city. Today we have dedicated the entire day to sightseeing. We start the morning by taking a tourist bus to take a tour of the main monuments of the city, which despite the fact that we already knew most of them, we have discovered many new ones. After this, we have visited the central market of the city, with an impressive fishmonger area. Then, we have walked through the city center to do some shopping. At the end of the afternoon we have walked through the neighborhood of Plaka to end up enjoying a picturesque part of the city. Our adventure ends here, early to bed because tomorrow we catch the plane very early.

5° Día en Atenas

 Nuevo día en Atenas, hoy con mucho frio tambien, pero eso no nos ha impedido seguir conociendo esta fantástica ciudad. Hoy hemos finalizado nuestro curso hablando sobre discapacidades físiscas y sensoriales. Finalmente hemos compartido con nuestros compañeros la entrega de diplomas. Después de esto hemos visitado varios monumentos como el Olympieion y la Escuela de Aristóteles. Durante la tarde hemos subido a la Colina de Filopapo para disfrutar de unas vistas de 360 grados de la ciudad, una auténtica pasada.

New day in Athens, today very cold too, but that hasn't stopped us from getting to know this fantastic city. Today we have finished our course talking about physical and sensory disabilities. Finally we have shared with our colleagues the delivery of diplomas. After this we have visited several monuments such as the Olympieion and the School of Aristotle. During the afternoon we have climbed the Hill of Philopappos to enjoy 360 ° views of the city, it was great!.
