Día 5

El quinto día amanece lluvioso. A primera hora de la mañana fuimos a una escuela a las afueras de Ankara con unos 1100 alumnos. Nos quedamos impresionados con sus instalaciones y la cálida acogida de los profesores que nos reciben. Tenemos la oportunidad de conocer de la mano de la coordinadora, Seher Fatma, el programa Ecoescuela y el desarrollo de los proyectos STEAM, en línea con el trabajo que realizamos en nuestro centro. Por la tarde, visitamos el Jardín Botánico Nacional, nos muestran cómo clasifican las plantas y especies de la zona, los laboratorios y algunos jardines, siendo el objetivo principal la protección y conservación de la biodiversidad del país. 

The day broke with rain. Firstly, in the morning, we went to a school on the outskirts of Ankara, it has around 1100 students. We were impressed with its facilities and the warm welcome of the teachers who receive us. We had the opportunity to learn from the coordinator, Seher Fatma, the Ecoescuela program and the development of STEAM projects, in line with the work we do at our center. In the afternoon, we visit the National Botanical Garden, they showed us how they classify the plants and species of the area, the laboratories and some gardens, the main objective is the protection and conservation of the country's biodiversity.
