Day 3

 

Today we have been involved in a workshop about The rights of Children . Our Danish collegue has shared a presentation with us and we have set the guidelines for the next project to be shared at Teams. We have had some small groups discussions about how to implement it in our schools. 

Then the time to say goodbye has arrived and we have packed back to Seinäjoki. 

We leave this wonderful and white country completely embedded with new ideas and amazing experiences to develop in our school.

Farewell Finland!

Hoy hemos trabajado en un taller sobre los Derechos de los niños. Nuestro colega danés ha compartido una presentación con nosotros y hemos establecido las líneas generales para los proyectos que debemos compartir por Teams. Más tarde, hemos debatido en pequeños grupos sobre diferentes formas de trabajar los proyectos en nuestras escuelas.

Finalmente ha llegado el momento de decir adiós y hemos hecho nuestras maletas de vuelta a Seinäjoki. 

Dejamos este maravilloso y blanco país totalmente  embebidos de nuevas ideas y experiencias para desarrollar en nuestros respectivos países. 

¡ Hasta siempre Finlandia!

Day 2

 

Today we have taught another English class at Martilia school. Afterwards, one of the students guided us around the school showing us their amazing facilities and workshops.

After a light lunch , we were driven to Honkiniemi , a wonderful holiday resort located by a neverending lake,  frozen at this time of the year. Here, a teacher from every country has explained his /her teaching practisebased on the use of ICT tools and techniques .

Finally we enjoyed some Finnish traditions like the sauna and a  bathing into the frozen lake and a night bonfire into the woods.

Hoy hemos podido impartir otra clase de inglés a los alumnos del colegio Martilia. A continuación , un alumno del mismo nos ha hecho un tour por todas las increíbles instalaciones y talleres del mismo.

Tras  almuerzo ligero  , tomamos un autobús a Honkiniemi, una zona de descanso situado al lo largo un impresionante lago, congelado, en esta época del año. En este resort , hemos asistido a una sesión donde cada profesor ha explicado al resto de profesores la práctica que ha realizado esa mañana en el colegio basada en el uso de herramientas TICS

Por último disfrutamos de algunas tradiciones finlandesas como la sauna, un baño en las congeladas aguas del lago y una fogata nocturna en el bosque 

Day 1 ,Seinäjoki

 After a very long journey , we finally reached our destinación,  Seinäjoki ( Finland).

We have visited the primary school of our host collegues. We have been able to attend some of the lessons and we have even had the possibility to lead an English one for 6 primary students.

Lastly we have had time to share a light snack with the teachers from the other partners countries : Denmark, Iceland and Poland.

Tras un largo viaje , finalmente llegamos a nuestro destino Seinäjoki ( Filandia).

Hemos visitado la escuela de educación primaria de nuestro anfitriones. Hemos asistido a algunas clases como observadores e incluso hemos podido dar una clase de inglés a alumnos de 6° de primaria.

Por último, hemos tomado un tentempié con los profesores de otros países.  

Proyecto Erasmus + KA229: Responsible Future Learners.

 ¡Por fin vamos a conocer a nuestros socios! Después de un año y medio trabajando online debido a la crisis sanitarias, vamos a llevar a cabo nuestra primera movilidad en Seinäjoki, Finlandia. Vamos a compartir experiencias y buenas prácticas sobre el uso de las nuevas tecnologías en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje con nuestros socios de Finlandia, Dinamarca, Islandia y Polonia. ¡¡Allá vamos!!

At last, we are going to meet our partners!!! After one year and a half working online due to the sanitary crisis, we are going to carry out our first mobility in Seinäjoki, Finland. We are going to share experiences and best practices about ICT- Tools and Techniques for Learning with our partners from Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Poland. There we go!!

Día 5 Ámsterdam

 Finalmente, hemos concluido el curso. Hoy hemos tratado asuntos tan importantes como la "Financial literacy"; técnicas para comprobar o aprender nuevo vocabulario, útil para idiomas o historia, dónde usamos tanto vocabulario o glosario. En definitiva: hemos mejorado nuestras técnicas de aprendizaje colaborativo. 

Hemos comprobado la importancia de enseñar y aprender cultura económica elemental en el siglo XXI. Desde las criptomonedas, hasta la letra pequeña que se esconde tras determinados productos. Su importancia se vive fundamental de cara a formar alumnos del siglo XXI. 

Para terminar, hemos disfrutado de un encuentro entre todos los participantes, con productos griegos y españoles. 

En definitiva, hemos disfrutado y aprendido mucho de esta experiencia inolvidable. Nos llevamos la maleta lleva de experiencias, emociones y nuevos amigos.

Finally, we have finished the course. Today we have dealt with issues as important as "Financial literacy"; techniques to check or learn new vocabulary, useful for languages ​​or history, where we use both vocabulary or glossary. In short: we have improved our collaborative learning techniques.

 We have verified the importance of teaching and learning basic economic culture in the 21st century. From cryptocurrencies, to the small print that hides behind certain products. Its importance is fundamental in order to train students of the 21st century.

 To finish, we have enjoyed a meeting between all the participants, with Greek and Spanish products.

 In short, we have enjoyed and learned a lot from this unforgettable experience. We take the suitcase full of experiences, emotions and new friends. 

Día 4 Ámsterdam

 Hoy hemos aprendido el valor de ser creativos, en la vida y en nuestro trabajo como docentes. La creatividad debe ser una herramienta en nuestro quehacer docente y nos permite ser más abiertos a la hora de entender a nuestro alumnado y a nosotros mismos. 

Por otra parte, hemos dedicado buena parte de la sesión de hoy al pensamiento crítico relacionado con las "Fake news", tarea nada fácil. 

Nuestra compañera Marta, además, ha aprovechado para hacer una preciosa ruta por los canales con otros compañeros del curso.

Today we have learned the value of being creative, in life and in our work as teachers. Creativity must be a tool in our teaching and allows us to be more open when it comes to understanding our students and ourselves.

 On the other hand, we have dedicated a good part of today's session to critical thinking related to "Fake news", a task that is not easy.

 Our colleague Marta has also taken the opportunity to make a beautiful route through the canals with other classmates.

Día 3 Ámsterdam

Today we have been talking about how important critical thinking is and how we can promote critical thinking skills in our students.

We have shared different experiencies about teaching to think slow, to do reflection, to compare different sources and to analyse the information.

In groups, we have designed both, factual and analitical activities for the same topic in order to provide a complete learning experience.
